Based on your suggestions, we are sending two separate checks ($1000 each) directly to two earthquake victims' families at Huaxi Botany Garden of the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Those two victims, Mr. Feng Zhengbo and Ms Xiong Hailan, were key staff members of the Garden and lived in Dujiangyan, near the epicenter of the earthquake.

Dr Ge Sun sent a transmittal letter to Dr. Ma Keping, Director of Institute of Botany along with the donation. He will deliver the two checks to the victim's families.
